spoken word poetry lyrics Poem by Haru Uema
I've been spending more and more time in my room lately.
I feel restless, like something's chasing me.
I was living life to the fullest, asking for what I wanted.
But there's something missing.
If you think about it too much, it'll ripple through your mind.
Let's just take it easy for now.
Someday you'll realize what you really want.
I don't have time to dwell on it.
We've had some good times and some bad times.
I've had my fair share of breakups.
I wonder if they're happy now. ......
Maybe. I know what I really want.
There are things you can't see when you're running. ......
From now on, I'll live as if I'm walking, taking it easy.
Someday, sorrow and pain will be memories of the past
I'll melt into the silence and my heart will be relaxed
The good and the fun fade with time.
We forget the happiness that was there.
We're so busy living our lives, we're so consumed by information.
We're so busy with information that we don't see the happiness that's there.
The more you take it easy, the calmer your mind will become.
Unhappiness is a comparison with a self-defeating ideal
Let's live our lives in comfort, the future will come
Someday, a moment of silence and bliss will come
